The Atlantic Economic Panel is a private sector-led initiative established to catalyze economic transformation in Atlantic Canada. Operating independently from government, we're engaging hundreds of business leaders, sector organizations, and communities across the region to answer critical questions about our economic future.
Our work is guided by three fundamental questions:
What would make the difference in Atlantic Canada reaching its full economic potential?
To what extent is this a matter of economic structure, public policy, regulatory entanglement, or culture—including our own attitudes toward ambition, risk, and growth?
What is it about 'how we do things here' that 
needs to change?
By Fall 2026, we'll deliver practical, forward-looking recommendations to Atlantic Canadians. Ultimately it will be our citizens and businesses who will determine our region's forward trajectory.
